Callaway Competition is the independent racing arm of Callaway Cars Inc. USA

The company designs and builds composite structures for the automotive industry, and serves as the constructor of Callaway racing cars. Located in Leingarten, Germany, the company is owned and directed by partners Ernst Wöhr and Giovanni Ciccone.

Woehr & Ciccone - a company specialized in body fabrication, exotic-car repair, and race-car preparation, was formed in 1985. They became the Callaway distributor for Europe in 1988, and Callaway Competition was formed in 1994. Mr. Woehr has an extensive background in sports-car racing as well as mechanical and aero engineering. Mr. Ciccone is an expert bodymaker - a perfect combination when it comes to designing and building exotic cars. Callaway Competition has all the necessary equipment and experience to build an entire car out of carbon fiber.  A fine example of the company's work, the Callaway C7 Project is on display in the Callaway US headquarters. The 2,450-pound, 650hp, 200-mph coupe was designed  for the GT1 class at Le Mans, 1994.

Today, Callaway Competition builds carbon structures for the automotive industry and counts Porsche, Mercedes, Volkswagen and Audi as its clients.

Callaway Competition is responsible for the homologation, construction, sales, and campaigning of the Corvette Z06.R GT3 series of automobiles. Race cars are sold to teams, and are supported by Callaway Competition. The Team is the most successful Team in the FIA GT3 series which was founded back in 2006.

Callaway Competition supports teams campaigning Corvette based FIA GT3 and GT4 cars in the FIA GT Series, as well as the UAE GT  Championship, Belcar, ADAC GT Masters, and other racing series around the world.
